How to wear winter trends in warmer climates

At SAU LEE we make dresses for women all around the world which means they can be worn in various climates no matter the season. Here are some of the trends from this winter that can be easily adapted to warmer climates:

1. The 80's

These past few seasons we've seen a reemergence of 80's aesthetic with bold prints, bright colors and dramatic silhouettes. Our Elena dress gives the 80s a subtle nod with asymmetric cut and layers of ruffles. The sleeveless design and open back make it perfect for the hotter temperatures.

2. Jewel tones

Every Fall/Winter season there's a change towards darker colors as opposed to Spring/Summer, and this year was not an exception. Deep blues, reds, greens and purples have been the favorites this winter. Our Guinevere dress in stunning Sapphire blue transcends the trend, becoming a classicly chic dress you can wear whatever the season.

3. Velvet

This winter velvet has been one of the biggest trends. Its luscious texture makes it ideal for winter parties and festive occasions. Although a long sleeve velvet dress might feel too warm for a hot climate, you can definitely get away with our lingerie inspired sleeveless Bridget dress if you don't want to miss out on the trend. Wear it with strappy sandals to finish the look.
