Why We Exist
SAU LEE was founded in 2014 by Cheryl Leung with a clear belief that Chinese culture is one of the world's richest sources of beauty, craftsmanship, symbolism, and design, and deserves a place at the forefront of global fashion.
As she entered the fashion industry, Cheryl noticed a disconnect. While Chinese design was admired around the world, it was rarely afforded the same cultural authority, desirability, or prestige as the world's most iconic fashion houses.
She saw an opportunity to create something different. A brand where the beauty of Chinese craftsmanship could exist in harmony with contemporary design, allowing women to embrace both heritage and modernity without compromise.
SAU LEE was created as that answer. Today, our ambition extends beyond creating beautiful clothing. We are building a global fashion house rooted in a distinctly Chinese perspective, inviting the world to experience the excitement, beauty, and evolution of modern Chinese femininity. Because culture deserves to be lived, not simply remembered.

Every SAU LEE collection begins with a dialogue between heritage and self-expression.
